Synopsis: What does one do for 250 large, you wonder? Anything the infamous, gorgeous playboy of Seattle wants. For the next four months, I’ll be Shaw Mercer’s arm candy, his beck and call girl, his faux girlfriend. I’ll be his to command, mold, push and pull in any direction he sees fit. I’ll fight falling into bed with him. I’ll fight falling in love with him even harder. I’ll fail at both. And when my past and present collide in the most unexpected of ways, I’ll learn that while one man’s love for me has never died, the only man’s love I really want will never be mine. –Amazon
Willow Blackwell will do anything to take care of her mother; during the day she narrates audiobooks but she’s also works part time as arm candy for those who can pay the price. I really loved this book. You could see the love and heartache that Willow goes through to take care of her mother who is slowly withering away due to the effects of Alzheimer’s. If I was in that position I would do all I could to care for the only family I had left, even if they didn’t remember who I was or thought I was someone else. While doing her job as an escort for Ms. Randi Deveraux of La Dolce Vita isn’t always the best she at least makes the money she needs to support her mother and maintain her family home.

Shaw Mercer is a playboy with the reputation of having a new lady on his arm and rumors of sharing his ladies with his best friend (OMG hot), because of this his father, who is running for Mayor, needs him to clean up his act, at least until after elections. Because of this, his best friend refers him to Ms. Randi Deveraux of La Dolce Vita. When he meets Willow, you can tell that they have a connection, though meeting through Ms. Randi wasn’t the first meeting they had, Shaw rear ended Willow a few days prior and that was an explosive meeting.

These two characters have such great chemistry, and as Willow fought it so hard you were just there wondering why the hell it was taking her so long to jump into bed with him. Hell, I would never have made it past the first day, but then again that’s just me. I loved all the twists and turns that were thrown in and really, they added to the story. I just couldn’t put this book down and ended up finishing it in just a couple of hours. I will say though that ending was just such a tease and now I just have to wait for the next book to come out to finish it.

This is a must read, there was a great mix of yummy scenes with story and I was really happy overall with it. I really can’t wait for the conclusion in the next book Found Underneath which should be available sometime in May, so yay on not having to wait so long!
