One of my favorite anime series of 2008 and 2009 was the series Spice and Wolf, based in the light novel series created by Isuna Hasekura & Jū Ayakura. Spice and Wolf told the story of a travelling merchant named Kraft Lawrence and his adventures and travels with the wolf-deity Horo with whom he has made a deal with. A wonderfully crafted character that amassed a number of fans worldwide, it is easy to see why after the light novel series debuted in 2006, she won the Best Female Character in the 2007 issue of Takarajimasha’s light novel guide book, Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! – and I am one of those loyal Horo fans.
As such, I am really excited that the amazing sculptors over at Kadokawa have presented fans with this 1/7 scale figure of Horo in her, well, natural presence. Standing at just over 8 inches tall (21 cm), this amazingly cute and sexy figure features Horo in the nude but without crossing that lewd line by hiding all of her particularly naughty bits. But the sexiness of the statue is still there. From the detail in her hair and tail to the wondrous expression in her eyes, this is a beautiful statue that would wonderfully compliment any anime figure collector’s statue.
