Going into this book I wasn’t sure how things would go, being an RH (reverse harem) I knew any male characters were potentials for being one of Tori’s guys and it was funny to see she had a boyfriend already. We meet Tori King and her friends as well as her boyfriend all seniors in High school getting ready for school dance and just being teenagers. With the strange encounter with the alien bounty hunter that unlocked her supernatural abilities to the new guys at school there was a lot going on for poor Tori.

Tori was an awesome main character and I really loved her personality. Her friend Kylie was pretty much her do or die bitch, hanging with her and having her back through all the ups and downs. It probably helped that her brother was a little weird and that helped her accept everything easier. Her other two friends I really couldn’t care for since they seemed blander while Kylie stood out, so they really weren’t worth my time since I just found them annoying.

Now on to her men, Dane, Coop, Maddox and Beck, I loved how all their personalities were so different and I loved how they all seemed to be able to work with each other but still butt heads on things. Dane the leader was more serious and took a while to believe that Tori was theirs, while Coop was the playful flirt who knew right away that she was theirs to keep and protect. Beck was the loveable nerdy type and Maddox was the muscle and tough guy of the group. They are all a great range of personalities and were perfect for Tori’s men.

This story really gave me the feels, worked its way into my heart and now I’m just dying for the second book now. This series is on my to be read list and ugh I can’t wait for the next part of Tori’s journey!

I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
