Celebrate Girls Make Games founder and CEO Laila Shabir at NTU

Join the ESA Foundation for Nite to Unite (NTU), the video game industry’s annual charity gala, on March 20 in San Francisco.

Each year, we come together at NTU to honor leaders and visionaries who use video games to improve society and provide opportunities for the next generation of developers. It is also an evening the industry convenes to raise funds for the ESA Foundation’s scholarship and grant programs that support women and minority students and improve the lives of children across the US.

This year, on NTU’s 20th anniversary, the ESA Foundation will present its Visionary Award to Laila Shabir in appreciation of her pioneering vision to empower young women and help create a more vibrant and diverse video game industry. Through her camps and workshops, Girls Make Games teaches young women game development in 41 cities around the world and offers them a home to express their shared love of playing and creating video games.
