One of my favorite characters from the anime series Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai (My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute), or Ore no Imouto for short, was the character of Ruri Gokō, also known as Kuroneko. There was something about the character of Ruri that was really appealing. It wasn’t quite the gothic Lolita attire that she would constantly wear but rather because of her cute stubbornness and pride. Though the character has been known to be generous and even will acquiesce her stance when it means she can accomplish her goal, her steadfast character is one that I really enjoyed to watch flesh out as the series progressed. And though the series may not have ended the way I would have liked, it was nice to see that Ruri was still a huge part of the lives of Kirino and Kyosuke.
That is why when I came across this cosplay set on bcy.net that features this Kuroneko Maid Outfit, I was really drawn to it. I may not know who the cosplayer is, even after using Google Translate to try and identify her, but I think she has done a marvelous job of bringing the character out and seem alive in this photo set. The level of detail that went into the making of the costume and the way the cosplayer presents herself in a manner very befitting of the Kuroneko character, I think this is a very exquisite and appealing cosplay set.
