Hawthorne Heights Release ‘Bad Frequencies’ Via Pure Noise Records

Hawthorne Heights is celebrating the release of their first full-length album in 5 years and 1st on Pure Noise Records today! Bad Frequencies gives fans a look back on why Hawthorne Heights has maintained such a strong presence in the genre while continuously growing, maturing and reflecting on life as musicians and as men. Alternative Press shared that “the physical and emotional grind of growing up on the road and facing all of the mistakes you made while still being able to revel in the good times is a challenge that this record confronts head-on” after Woodruff told them “This album is about making amends with yourself” in an exclusive interview. Fans can stream, buy and check out Bad Frequencies on SpotifyiTunesApple Music and at http://hawthorneheights.com/.

The album has already been garnering great responses from fans and press alike with outlets like Substream Magazine sharing “The record is bursting with bittersweet reflection on moments long passed, as well as a longing for escape that defies the understanding one cannot escape themselves.”

Singer and Guitarist JT Woodruff shares “We wrote Bad Frequencies over the course of a year, which was our longest writing process as a band. We played 170 shows in 2017, wrote every moment that we could, then demoed, then recorded an album. I think we fit everything we possibly could in 365 days, and we are very proud of that.”

Bad Frequencies was produced by Hawthorne Heights along with Nick Ingram (Hotel Books, Capital House Studio), and mixed by Cameron Webb (Grammy Winner, NOFX, Social Distortion). The band previously worked with Ingram on the Hurt EP as well as Webb for “Push Me Away” which was released last summer ahead of their full run on the Vans Warped Tour.
