You know, I’ve always been more of a Gran Turismo fan myself, but I would be stupid and blind not to admit that the Forza series of racing games hasn’t been as beautiful, or sometimes even more beautiful, than the GT series – and Forza Horizons 4 is no exception. With the recent reveal trailer dropping at E3 2018, gamers had their first look at the game and what it would encompass when it finally launches on the Xbox One and it is simply a divine work to behold. Looking at the lighting, the textures, the weather effects, the reflections off the glass and coatings of the various vehicles shown throughout the trailer… Forza Horizons 4 looks absolutely stunning, no doubt about it.
This game looks to improve upon all of the technical achievements that the series has presented so far and take them up to new levels as it seems to push the limits of what the Xbox One can do and produce as a console gaming system. I mean, this reveal trailer is simply jaw-dropping. It’s clean and clear and crisp; everything that a racing game trailer should present to fans. Like I said before, I am more of a GT fan, but I may have to put this game on my radar to check this one out firsthand when it drops. Because it takes a lot for a reveal trailer to wow me the way that the one for Forza Horizons 4 has, and if this is just the reveal trailer running on an in-game engine, oh man, I can’t wait to see what the full game is going to do when I get to play it.
