Trash Boat Share New Single ‘Inside Out’; New Album ‘Crown Shyness’ Out Now

Trash Boat has released “Inside Out“, the second single off their upcoming album Crown Shyness, out now on Hopeless Records. Fans can check out the music video on the Hopeless Records YouTube channel.

Speaking to the new song, vocalist Tobi Duncan explained, “This song is a personal analysis of my inner monologue. The ‘guy’ that’s with me with every decision, every thought process and my quietest, most solitary moments. ‘He’ regularly represents the two extremes of my nature. Always there to talk me out of making horrible decisions and ready to chastise me for making them anyway.”

“I think in all honesty ‘he’ is the first and most important thing I need to make peace with and understand,” Tobi continued. “’He’ is the foundation of myself and is subject to my guidance while having total control over me. My order and my chaos.”

Last month, the band shared the single and music video for Shade, which premiered on BBC’s Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter.

Crown Shyness was produced by Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Neck Deep), and explores disparate emotions, juxtaposing hard-fought introspection against external strife to create a propulsive, captivating blend of punk and melodic hardcore.

Ultimately, Crown Shyness is overflowing with acceptance and understanding. Because Trash Boat don’t shut the darkness out-they invite it in, knowing the only way to break through that canopy and into the sunlight above is to embrace life’s obstacles head-on and work every day to defeat them.

Trash Boat will be on the road this summer for the entire and final cross country run of the 2018 Vans Warped Tour. A full list of dates can be found below. Tickets are on sale now at  www.vanswarpedtour.com/dates.
