XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., announced that the “Gessen Character Set” DLC for SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal, the full, modern remake of the series’ first entry in the West, is now available on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC via Steam. Normally priced at $9.99, the “Gessen Character Set” DLC is free to download on both PS4TM and Windows PC via Steam for the next two weeks, ending on February 26.

The righteous shinobi of the Gessen Girls’ Academy are ready to join the fight, adding Murakumo, Yozakura, Shiki, and Minori to the lineup along with their accompanying school outfits and swimsuits, just in case, a water gun battle breaks out. Following this release, XSEED Games will also be releasing DLC for the Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy on February 19, and a final character pack featuring Kagura, Naraku, and Ryōki with select complementary items on February 26. Like the “Gessen Character Set,” both these DLC packs will be free for the first two weeks after launch on both PS4TMand Windows PC and will be priced at $9.99 following this free download period.
